Kana Slot Car 3D is a free browser racing game where the tracks are real Japanese Hiragana and Katakana characters, rendered in full 3D. Every track follows the actual stroke order of a character — and where strokes cross, the track becomes a real overpass you drive over and under, so the structure of each character is something you physically experience.
Use W or the up arrow to accelerate, and S or the down arrow to brake. Your slot car follows a groove cut into the track — but carry too much speed into a tight curve and you'll fly off in a tumble! Red-and-white kerbs mark the corners that demand braking. Switch between a low chase camera and a slowly orbiting overview with C.
Drive a road trip across Japan: each kana row is a city — Tokyo, Hakone, Nagoya, Kyoto, Osaka and on to Sapporo — with its own landmarks around the track. Every kana is a 3-lap race worth up to three stars for beating its target times. Earn a star on every kana in a city to unlock the next stop and that row's Cup, then take on the Grand Tour: every kana, nonstop. Race the ghost of your own best lap as you go.
Every track is the character itself: you drive its strokes exactly in order, and where strokes cross, the road becomes an overpass. Before a race, tap “Stroke order” to watch a laser draw each stroke of the character along the track — then spin and zoom the 3D model to study its shape. A live minimap inks the character in as you drive.
